The Lutgert Companies
Breaks Ground On Aria

Luxury Condominium
To Be Final Lutgert Creation
On Park Shore Beach

Naples, Florida The Lutgert Companies broke ground this week on Aria, the Southwest Florida developer’s “Grand Finale” luxury high rise condominium project on Park Shore Beach in Naples. The eighteen-story structure is the company’s seventeenth and final development on Park Shore Beach, an exclusive collection of residences created by the company over the past 35 years.

“Aria is the final piece in the collection of luxury residences envisioned by my father, Raymond Lutgert, when he purchased the property where Park Shore Beach is located in 1964,” said Scott Lutgert. “As Founder of The Lutgert Companies, he set a course that transformed Park Shore Beach into one of the most prestigious communities in the world and transformed Southwest Florida into the preferred destination that it is today. We are pleased and proud to carry on the tradition of excellence that he established with this new project. Aria will be an outstanding addition to our Park Shore Beach collection.”

Aria will include fifty-two elegantly appointed typical residences and thirteen luxurious penthouse residences. Approximately thirty percent of the residences remain available.

Aria’s five typical residence floor plans and five penthouse floor plans range from 3,100 square feet to over 5,000 square feet. Living area features include ceiling heights from nine feet eight inches to eleven feet, eight foot raised-panel interior doors with brass lock sets, crown moulding in the great room, dining room and foyer, laminated insulated fixed glass except where protection is provided by storm shutters, electronically operated storm shutters, a medical alert system that is connected to the security desk, gas fireplaces, screened and shuttered or open terraces, and an electronic trash recycling system.

The kitchens will be equipped with KitchenAid appliances, granite counter tops, Ray Routh custom cabinetry and a water purification system at the main sink. A Jacuzzi whirlpool tub will be located in the master bath and all bathrooms will include natural marble vanity tops, tub decks and showers. Cabanas in Penthouse Residences Two through Five will be equipped with a Thermadore grill and a sub-zero under-counter refrigerator. The two uppermost penthouses will have access to private rooftop terraces with full baths, spas, bars, grills and shade structures.

Building amenities include a grand two story lobby entrance, a club room, the largest swimming pool and pool deck undertaken by The Lutgert Companies on Park Shore Beach, two guest suites, a billiard room, a fitness room, and a board room. The quality and attention to detail that are the Lutgert hallmark will be apparent throughout.

“The Lutgert Companies completed its first high rise building on Park Shore Beach, Horizon House, in 1971,” said Richard J. Baker, President of Lutgert Development. “All of us are extremely proud to have been a part of bringing the Lutgert legacy on Park Shore Beach to fruition. We are excited to know that Aria will be a fitting last piece in that legacy.”

The Lutgert Companies Vice President of Residential Development Tim Weidle is the Aria Project Manager. “The construction process should take about twenty-four months,” said Weidle. “We’ll spend the next five months or so drilling and pouring the 275 caissons that will provide the foundation of the building. The caissons range from 30 to 72 inches in diameter and typically run 70 to 85 feet deep. We’re looking forward to meeting the challenges that a project of this nature entails and to completing another beautiful addition to the Lutgert collection on Park Shore Beach.”

In addition to Horizon House, The Lutgert Companies’ collection of high rise residences on Park Shore Beach includes Surfsedge built in1973, Gulfside in 1974, La Mer in 1976, Esplanade in 1981, Park Plaza in 1983, Terraces in 1986, Vistas in 1989, Le Parc in 1990, Enclave in 1991, Park Tower in 1994, Venetian Tower in 1995, Le Rivage in 1996, Le Jardin in 1998, Provence in 2000 and Regent in 2002. Aria will be the eleventh Park Shore Beach luxury high rise designed by the Tampa based firm of Smith, Barnes, Santiesteban Architecture. Orlando based Marc-Michaels Interior Design is creating Aria’s interior ambience.

In addition to Aria on Park Shore Beach, The Lutgert Companies is currently developing properties at Bonita Bay, Estuary at Grey Oaks, and Linville Ridge, North Carolina.
